VL101: Prerequisite to VL102

Vl101 is a prerequisite to getting into VL102. Only those who have finished VL101 can proceed to VL102. In the same way, the module of VL101/102 seminar/workshop is a prerequisite for all other progressively more advanced seminars and workshops, including specializations in the different fields like Direction, Cinematography and Lighting, Editing, etc. VL101 is the blue print for all future learning in a lifetime of practice. VL102 is merely a beginning of putting into practice the foundation knowledge that is VL101. For beginning filmmakers, VL102 will give the opportunity to experience the basic applications laid down in VL101. For more advanced fimmakers, VL102 will be an opportunity to experience more advanced applications of the same principles. This is the reason that everyone must first pass through the portal of VL101. Without passing through VL101, there is no context for practice, which is the essence of VL102.
